RegularMeeting Minutes
October 2, 2017

 Meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. with the pledge to the flag. Members Bob Cook, Eleanor Kilmer, Kaitlyn Burgess, Bob Steele and Greg Lotter were present.     

 Minutes from the September 6, 2017 meeting were motioned for approval by Steele and seconded by Lotter. Motion carried with 5 yes.       

Public comments: County Commissioner present. Gave report. Sgt. Gary Finney was present and spoke on police protection. Our residents have the option to vote on whether they want police protection or not.

Ambulance:  Glenn Fox was present. He gave report. No Questions.

Mayville Library: No report

 Planning commission: Travis was present and gave report. Vicky Sherry from EDC was present. Discussed Master Plan, taking care of final copy. Master Plan will be at the township hall. It is currently on the website.

Zoning Administrator: Bob issued one pole barn and a dwelling permit.

Blight Officer: Blight fixed on Pattison Rd.  Cat Lake may take awhile.

Cemetery:   Eleanor reported that there were two burials in West Dayton. Made of a list of Veteran's flags and holders because brass holders have been stolen and we had to switch to plastic. County has funds to help with this.

Assessor:  Joan was not present.

Trustee: No Report.

Supervisor: Bob spoke about dust control. Bills were not all listed due to resignation of Clerk and not time to train new Clerk at that point.

Treasurer: reported income of $9,644.49 and expenses of $40,510.05 for a balance on hand of $239,144.68 there is $21,762.41 in the checking. There is $15,247.02 in money market account and a CD face value of $171,269,69.     

 Clerk: Welcome to our newly appointed Clerk, Kaitlyn Burgess. No report at this time.

 Motion to adjourn the meeting made by Steele, motion carried and meeting was adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
