Regular Meeting Minutes

March 3, 2020

1.Call to order with pledge to the Flag-Meeting was called to order at 7:03 pm

2.Minutes of Previous Meeting – Motion to approve minutes for previous meeting made by Steele, seconded by Lotter, motion carried.

3.Public Comment – There was a discussion about assessments being received from the Drain Commission

4.Reports

County Commissioner-Not present
Ambulance-Glen Fox reported on 2/11 meeting, 2020 bill was presented to Clerk Shaver
Library – Mayville-Gail Cook has resigned from the Library board, they will be looking for a replacement
Planning Commission-Travis reported the committee skimmed over articles 11-13 and approved 14
Zoning Administrator-2 Land Divisions, 0 Dwelling Permit, 2 Pole Barn Permits
Blight Enforcement Officer-There is currently one in court, it should be resolved soon.
Cemetery-No burials. There was a question about how many cremains can go in a space.
Assessor-Not present
Trustees-Lotter reported that the light is back on at the park n ride at Treasurer and 24. The load restrictions are on now.

5.Supervisor

Roads-Asphalt on Shay Lake is still in litigation, not going to do the top until litigation is over. Asphalt for Shay Lake, Cat Lake Chip n Seal, have been quoted.
Millage-Come out to vote for the millage. We really need this to pass for our road funding.

6.Treasurer

Financial Report- Eleanor read financial report. We are required to accept post marked taxes.    

7.Clerk

Expense Report-Tony read the expense report totaling $48,242.68. Motion to pay bills made by Steele, seconded by Lotter. The Motion Carried.

9.New Business-

Budget Workshop & Budget Hearing-3/19 6pm and 3/30 6pm
Appoint Deputy Treasurer-Esther Renee Kilmer-motion by Shaver, seconded by Steele. The Motion Carried
