Regular Meeting Minutes
September 6, 2017
Meeting was called to order at 7:15 p.m. with the pledge to the flag. Members Bob Cook, Eleanor Kilmer, Amanda Gusek, Bob Steele and Greg Lotter were present.
Minutes from the August 7, 2017 meeting were motioned for approval by Steele and seconded by Lotter. Motion carried with 5 yes.
Public comments: Bob Apologized to Orlin Lotter for overlooking him in Public Comment at previous meeting.
Ambulance: Glenn Fox was present. He gave report. No Questions.
Mayville Library: Gail was present gave report. No Questions.
Planning commission: Travis was present and gave report. No Questions
Cemetery: Everyone’s been healthy. Cook reported that he mowed the new acre and we need to remove the trees.
Assessor: Joan was not present.
Trustee: No Report.
Supervisor: Travis Klimek, Doug Graham and Bob Cook gave report on the new marijuana law, up to 1,500 plants could be planted if opted in. MTA suggested an opt out resolution if not interested. Mayville Police Chief Tony Coln and Sergeant Gary Fini were present and stated that drugs are on the increase.
Treasurer: reported income of $28,507.31 and expenses of $19,569.01 for a balance on hand of $239,144.68 there is $12,628.64 in the checking. There is $35,246.35 in money market account and a CD face value of $191,269.69.
Clerk: Invoice to be paid with the AUTO EFT and checks#7819-7843 in the amount of $22.101.97. After a brief explanation of said invoices it was motioned by Steele, seconded by Lotter to pay bills. Motion carried with 5 yes.
New Business: Eleanor talked about the garbage pick-up, we need to put five dollars more per household. Moved by Bob Steele Seconded by Eleanor with a roll call vote of Bob Steele yes, Greg Lotter no, Eleanor Kilmer yes, Amanda Gusek yes, Bob Cook yes.
Marijuana Opt Out Resolution. Moved by Greg Lotter and seconded by Bob Steele carried with a roll call vote Greg Lotter yes, Bob Steele yes, Eleanor Kilmer - yes, Amanda Gusek - yes and Bob Cook - es.
Motion to adjourn the meeting made by Steele, motion carried and meeting was adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
