BUDGET HEARING MINUTES
March 21, 2015


    Meeting was called to order at 9:04 am. Board members Bob Cook, Eleanor Kilmer, Bob Steele, Mike Mocniak, and James Satchel were present.  A budget workshop summary was given to each board member, discussed, and motioned for approval by Steele with support from Kilmer with one change.  It was approved by roll call vote, with Satchel the only no vote.


    The amended 14-15 budget was reviewed, discussed and motioned for approval by Steele with support by Cook. It was approved by roll call vote with Satchel the only no vote.


    Satchel requested that there be separate line items for the website administrator, the  zoning administrator, and the blight officer. Mocniak will check to see if this could be done for the next fiscal year.
    Satchel re-read a letter from resident Bob Adams, which was previously presented at the budget workshop regarding Adams’ concerns about the roads.


    Mocniak and Kilmer provided financial summaries which showed that there is $403,369.90 on hand as of April 1, 2015. Mocniak provided a summary of cash on hand for the past 7 years which showed a decrease of $128,424.00 over the period.    


    The 2015-2016 budget was reviewed , motioned for approval by Steele with support from Kilmer, and was passed by unanimous roll call vote.  Projected income for the year is $411,100.00 and projected expenses are $479,056.46.
